Description

Forms an enormous impenetrable thorny cattle-proof hedge when planted close together. A superior structural bamboo of great beauty with graceful upright culms and slightly nodding tops. Shining bright green culms and fine light green leaves. Huge excellent edible shoots hairless but grotesque with their distorted culm leaf blades and contrasting dark and light colouring.
